"THE MYSTERIOUS CASE OF PAM JENKINS"
PART 8: RETRACING SCENE OF THE CRIME
This video represents another aspect of documentary filmmaking and dective work both, which is historical reenactments. This is used to give audience members a good idea of the emotional gravity of historical events, usually. But in this case, I used the historical reenactment technique to try to jog Judy’s memory.
For all of you filmmaker/detectives out there, have you had success with historical reenactments? Judy and I didn’t have much success, but I think that’s because Judy wasn’t approaching the exercise with a very open mind.
And the restaurant cleaned up things, probably moving clues and paintings or mirrors in the process.
I think this is the last part of the series, because Judy is tired of doing it, and I can't have a documentary without a main subject. If you want to convince her otherwise, I can give you her phone number and you can try calling her?
