My grandmother was hosting a bridge card game at our house today and she told me to go play outside. I had a better idea, to head to a cofee shop and write some poems and sceenplays (at least the begginnings of some). Judy volunteered to take me when i asked if she wanted to do that or maybe drive to atlanta and go to the world of coke-a-cola museum i found out they had recently where you can taste cokes of different flavors (grape coke would be very delicious!)
I got some work done but i was researching robotics and technology for the use of my screenplay and the internet connection wasn't very good. After a couple of hours i gave up and we left. Then the weirdest thing happened.
We stopped at a place called Kwikee Mart which i have always thought was a weird name. You would want to spell your word right to attract customers instead of making them unprofessional and kiddy like that. We stopped because Judy's car started beeping and her dad told her to pull over and he picked up us and brought her car back to the repair shop to get them to fix the problem again, I just hope it doesn't coast 500 doallars again!
While we waited for Judy's dad, we perusaled the shop inside of the gas station. They had a variety of cheap used DVD's and car decals with funny slogans on them. I almost bought some sunglasses because they were only $5 but then I saw a very nice holiday snowglobe in there clearence section at th e back of the shop for a very steep discount. I guess most people don't get there snowglobes at gas station stores when they have walmarts or marts or targets but this was previously priced at $20 and it featured a very realistic looking snowman near a big cityscape and the text "WELCOME TO THE HOLIDAYS" on it. The glass was very even and it looked like a very quality snowglobe.
I lost one of my favorites in the trip to Hollywood, Los Angeles so I was exited to buy it and at $4.99 cents on sale it was a now brainer!
I went up to the cash register feeling very lucky but when I swiped my debit card it was declined. I tried three times but it was declined every time. I have never had that happen before and I know it was not the card reader because i was able to buy it with my credit card with no issue after the fiasco. Why would one work and not the other? I don't foollow that at all. Debit cards are very strange.
I haven't asked my grandmother about it because shs is still playing bridge cards downstairs.
The creative video and written blog for musings, creative videos, how-to-do-it videos, and other great things.

Car repair shop
Have you ever been to a car repair building before? They feel like doctors office's which makes sense because they are a lot like car doctors offices I guess.
Well I went with Judy to a car repair shop today because her car had to be brought in to get the engine changed before she moves to Pensylvania sometime soon. I was not that interested in going because I was watching an episode of a strange show I found on Netflix called MAD MEN. It is about a girl finding a job as a secretary in the 1970s. Judy begged me to come and told me the car place has free cookies so I agreed to go and i brought my smartphone.
On the way to the shop her car seemed just fine and I can't exacty understand why she needed to get her engine changed since it was running so good. I don't know a lot of things about the inner workings of cars so maybe Im just not an expert.
We couldn't drive away once we got there and the procedure took about 3 hours so there was a lot of time to kill and the cookies were kind of stale. I also drank some skim milk from the coffee station they had near the cookies but it was warm and unsatisfying.
Judy started to fall asleep at a point and I downloaded a game for my smartphone that is called AR GHOST or something. I think the AR stands for the name of the game maker, maybe something like Adam Roberts I guess? But the game was weird because it just lets me take photos of my surroundings and when they show up they have ghosts in them. Some photos don't have ghoss and some do. I am not sure how it works and I wouldn't call it fun exactly.
Judy had to pay like 500 dollars to get her car fixed which seemed like a lot! At least they washed it too.

BEAR ON THE LOOSE: Photography in the Airport
I have been meaning to post this for awhile because I didn't know how to get photos from my phone to my blog. Judy checked it out and showed me how to do it. FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT DON"T KNOW: It turns out it works exactly the same, you just use image capture and grab the photos and put them in a folder then browse for them and place them on the page. It seems complicated to explain but its not bad!
Smartphones have really revolutioned photos! You can take them anyway you want and anywhere you want. Older cameras fit in big suitcases and required more than one person to operate but smartphones allow you to try things out and not worry too much about where you are or anything that old cameras prevented!
When I was on the way to Los Angeles earlier this year I took a number of striking photos in the airpot. I made a new style of photo that originated from me not wanting to put photos of strangers and endanger there life on my blog from having them reconizable. So I came up with a way of taking photos by moving the camera quick and making neat streaks. You will find many of these here and I think you will like the artistic way it looks. I put these big so you can print them and put them in frames if you want!
I hope you like them this size. BLOGGER resizes them automically but i know you can still print them out as big as you want.
Try taking some photos like this yourself, you can get cool stuff in an airport and I bet you can get cool stuff otherplaces too! If you come up with a cool one share it in the comments!

The Mentalnet (or Mindternet)
I had a very amazing idea that I have been thinking about for the last three hours! I was telling Judy about an idea I had for a movie because I have been brainstorming more titles and summaries to use. This one was called DANGERS OF THE OCEAN and it featured an evil shark that terrorizes a particular boat of scientists who are trying to track it. When I told Judy this, she said there was already a movie about an evil shark called JAWS. I had heard of that movie before but I thought it had due with something else, I feel silly about it now but I thought it had to do with an evil villain who collected human jaws. Then again now that I know thats not true I can use it and just change the title to JARS OF JAWS (for a tricky title to pronounce! those are memorible!).
I was so shocked by the fact that this movie already existed! I think tis a famous movie actually so its not like it was made in some corner that no one knows about! So I thought about how this is possible. People at different times in different places coming up with the same ideas without knowing about each others ideas… How does that work… It is pretty neat. Maybe there were two people who invented televisions or computers at the same time but the first person to show it off gets the credit. That is a fasinating thought huh?
Well I came up with a way to describe this. Its sort of cosmic but I think you will be interested to think about it.
What if all of our brains are connected like through satelites and the internet. Satelites bounce through space and get to one central point without being connected by wires so thats where that part comes in. And we all know the internet connects everyones computers together and allows them to connect information back and forth. So if our brains use satelites and connect that way similar to the internet, we could give information back and forth without even knowing it!
So my ideas may not be my own and your ideas may not be your own! It is all about how gets them out first. JAWS got the shark idea out earlier even though it was also my idea, so in some wants someone is making money off a movie that I had the idea for! But someday when i have a big money making movie it will be someone else's idea first maybe and i could be taking there idea!
I have so much I could say about this idea and I think you would be pretty excited about the ideas but i am going to write a big movie like THE MATRIX that is really creative and thought provoking about this concept. I just have to be careful you won't take it first or that someone else isn't writing it first!
I call this concept the MINDERNET or also THE MENTALNET. Ist cool huh? Lets talk about this in the comments if you want to know more.

Local Indiependent Cinema Review
You probably followed my kickstarted before they turned out to be a real bad service full of lies that keeps everyones money! On it you would have seen my announcement that we were showing BATTLE FOR CREATA FOREST at the coffee underground in downtown greenville. I had never heard of this place but Judy found it in the phonebook or on google as a place for showing the movie. I didn't believe her at the time but there are actually a number of large number of movie showings that happen at the coffee underground.
There was one today at 3pm for a weird short film by a local filmmaker named Joe Shumway called THIS IS YOUR TICKET. Judy and me went to the showing to network and to offer a review for the film since it can be very helpful to get a feedback from someone. There were a bout 15 people at the premiere which I thought was a decent number but he probably didn't advertise much. Judy found it and told me about it so I don't know where everyone else found about it.
The movie was about 20 minutes long but it felt much longer, then we said high and I told Joe where my blog was and said we should maybe work together at some point because he had some good things about his movie and I think we could learn from each other!
So what did I think of THIS IS YOUR TICKET? Well I will be honest and say that I didn't fully get it. The movie started off with a guy dressed as a robot waking up in the middle of a very dark room and then his head lit up. Next the robot got on a computer and stared at it and tried to talk to it. This happened for about 10 minutes and then the robot heard a knock at the door and another robot came and changed places with him. This robot looked different but still had a lit up head (probably made with flashlights) but instead of being on the computer this robot touched his face and a red light started then the movie switched to see the rest of the movie through its own eyes. The robot zoomed on various objects and then eventually finds a mirror. When the mirror is found you realize the robot is actually invisible. I am not sure how Joe Shumway did the invisible trick but I would expect to see a reflection in the mirror and it wasn't there. The movie ended there and didn't have many credits.
I don't really understand what it was about and I think that the story needs work. The characters are find and the plot is okay but the story needs some work. I don't think anyone wants to watch people on the computer and showing a bunch of zooming in video of objects can be really unecessary.
Technically it was pretty good. I liked the robot costumes. The music was really loud most of the time and there were some parts that seemed really different. I don't know if thats because he used two cameras or filmed them at different times but there was a inconsistentcy to it.
I would recommend you watch the movie for yourself if he puts it on youtube or if it places in a film festival near you or if he raises enough money to put it on the theaters. But I can't give it a good review because it was not my favorite movie. Different things for different people I guess! But creativity is a good thing to do and this movie was creative for sure. I also didn't get the title.
I look forward to seeing more local films. Feel free to send me links to your own films in the comments and I might find time to review them.

Made up games!
I was watching some MYTH BUSTERS on netflix yesterday morning while i was eating a nutrigrain bar and I think my grandmother just have gotten on the wrong side of the bed this morning because she came in and told me i had to either eat or watch tv and not both. Then she decided she dint want bread crumbs on the couch and she told me to go sit at the table. I was only 30seconds away from the end of the episode I was watching a riveting episode about ghost voices and i thought it would be the most efficent way to do it to just finish the episode then go to the table but she got it in her mind that I was being disrespective and not listening to her. She grounded me from TV for a whole week!!!!
I won't get into it more because I don't want to cause a big deal on the internet with my grandmother so I will let you judge the facts for yourself but at the time I was very upset so I let it get to me and i went for a walk around the neighborhood to cool down (this is something I have down for many years you could consider it my trademark even). Remember how I told you I hadn't talked to Judy for a few weeks because of the rude word she called me in haste? well she actually was laying on her yard looking at the clouds and when i walked by her house, she ran after me and said she hadn't talked to me in a while. We talked about things and she said she was sorry she called me such things and we ended up really connecting again and things were good.
I had a good time talking to her so I forgot I was upset with my grandmother and instead Judy and I played a game of WAR like we used to play as kids. You play by claiming a name for your army. Mine was called BLUE ARMY and Judy named hers THE SEAGULLS for some reason. Then you pick up a bunch of pine cones and rocks and sticks from the yard and build a small catterpult out of your sticks and launch your pinecones and rocks at the other armies sticks and rocks. The person who can hit the most of the other army objects wins. I won by a long shot.
Judy then showed me her cloud looking game and we spotted some old men faces in the clouds and a couple of ghosts like Casper. My grandmother found us hanging out in Judy's yard and was worried because I hadn't told her wear I was going. She then went to go play bingo and Judy and her dad invited me over for pizza. He gets weird pizza that has pine apples on it. I think that no pizza should ever have fruit on it unless it is desert pizza!
I remembered why Judy and I have so much fun so I think things are probably better between us and I will probably not worry so much about the mean name she called me. But now I just have to not watch TV for the next week.
What are the most fun pretend games you play with your friends?!
