nevermind...

I promised some great videos last time. Nevermind. I don't want to get into it but I know you will want to know what happened. I am so upset.

I was riding my bike to work and then when I got there I realized my phone was not in my pocket at all anymore. I spent all day walking and searching my path to find it but I found nothing.

So no videos or any of the neat photos I took. They are gone. I will try to update my blog as soon as I can but this is a real setback.

big update coming soon

I know it has been awhile! I am going to update my blog very soon!!! I have been busy. I have been taking a lot of neat videos on my phone with the creative urges i have been pushing toward more at work to get away from the stifeling environment my boss has created in that awful place. I have made some neat little skits and animated screw and nut videos you will get a joy from. But I need to have time to do some editing and stuff.

Coming soon! Get excited.

just a quick update

I have a day off for the first time in a while and I remembered I need to update my blog but I don't really know what to say. It is very strange how draining doing cleaning work can be and how it really makes you forget about all of your creative ideas. I have some stuff written down on a peice of paper I hide under the cash register at work but I forgot it and i don't want to go back there today to get it. So just stay tuned and more stuff will come soon.

WORKING CLASS REDEMPTION

OH MY GOSH I HATE WORKING AT THE HARDWARE STORE. I DIDN'T EVEN GET TO FINISH THIS VIDEO BECAUSE MY BOSS, MR. STUPID, INTERRUPTED ME AND MADE ME STOP WHAT I WAS DOING. THERE'S NO TIEM FOR A BREAK, NO ROOM FOR CREATIVITY OR EMBRACING YOUR CREATIVE SPIRIT. IT JUST IS REALLY A BAD TIME, AND IT'S NOT RIGHT FOR ME. I AM SO UPSET WITH THIS SITUATION.

JOBS ARE TERRIBLE!!!

It is late and I am very tired but I just wanted to check in while I had a minute and let you no the news. I have a job my grandmother made me do at a hardware store and it has really drained me and made me very much tired. I have been sleeping more than ever before and i think its because jobs are harder than they look, I didn't know that when i was looking for one so that is news for me.

My feet also hurt a bunch form the work I have been doing standing on my feet so much, do you think i might have bad shoes. Do sandles work better? or other brands of shoes better than the ones I have (i think sketchers). I don't know when i will be updated in the future but as soon as possible i am going to make more conent.

i might make some videos about my job but using some tricks to make the stories more relatable and not about me.

Let me know about shoes if you have idess?

Open Letter to Resume Writers

I went through the effort to borrow money the other day specifiy so I could by a resume from this online website. (I am holding their address back until i know how this email goes because I don't want to make bad publicty for them). I sent them my five page resume that I worked on for an hour or so but they were supposed to be so good to make it perfect for getting me a job. I waiting for three days like they said to do.

When it came I was very upset to find it seemed copyed and pasted from my orieingal textedit document i send them. I thought the resume looked okay but it doesn't suit me unless I am going to work in an office NO THIANKS!
I started thinking about it and realized there are really only two reasons they did this. One is they were impressed with my original work and just made some small changes. The other is they aren't professionals at all, I am growing very scepticle of frauds these days but I am a very forgiving person so I didn't want to jump the conclusions on this. But either way it isn't worth the full price I paid for it so I write them a brief response that may end up getting me the job I am looking for if it goes well. I wanted to share it here in case you are in a similar situation and need help frasing an email to the people you are sending it to.

Dear company,
I am Peter
Bear, from the online blog PETER BEAR"S DEN (http://www.peterbearsden.blogspot.com). I recently submit an order to your website and it looked like things were fine and legit but I received a resume back from your professional writers that was not up to a standard I was expecting. I might call it unprofessional but I think there me be two reasons for this. Maybe you do not hire professional writers and your site is not run like a proper business should be run. If this is true I hope you will refund my money and I will leave you alone and not tell anyone bad reviews to avoid your site but I would advise you take it down to prevent more problems in the future.
The other option is I think maybe I under estimate my resume skills since i am now to it and maybe i created a great resume to start with so you just had to work on the format. This is a great possibility for both uf os. I am looking for work as a writer and you are a professional service. Maybe the best option is that this be counted as my application and you hire me to keep working for you. I think $50 per resume is a good amount to get paid and I would like to be part of that business.
Let us talk soon and arrange a time to talk.
Sinecerely,
Peter
Bear, Writer

Let me know if this helps you do what you need for your emails!

Bear in the Future

I have made hundreds of videos. I write music and play guitar. I am amazing with computersand the internet. These pursues have been because some day I plan to get a job that uses this skills and pays me so much money I can live on a beach and film time lapse photos of the sunset. Picture that in your mind. Not bad huh? I was very fond of the beach I went to in Los Angeles and I think I could live there without any trouble once I get the good job I want.

I am going to be the boss, writing projects and getting them made all the time. Whatever I think of we will make. Companies will pay me to make grilled cheese with their cheese and sponsor the show or give me lifetime supplies of they're cheeses. I will have great quality equipment and a theater for showing my movies to all of my friends and pets. I will buy an expensive acoustic guitar that stays intone and makes my playing sound as good as it does on good quality equipment.

This is the life for me. But my grandmother is trying to ruin my dreams and make me work at a hardware store owned by her friends from when she was a vlunteer at the library. I think there house smells like old bread and the old man that runs it looks like an old nerd which I never want to be.

She also wants me to learn to drive but she won't be me a car so i don't kow what the point is. I dont see how this contributes to the life i plan on to have in the future like i discribed before. Instead she seems to be making it harder. I cant learn to drive fully without the car i am supposed drive.

I AM NOT COMPLAINING JUST STATING THINGS LIKE THEY SEEM TO ME. THERE IS NO REASON TO GROUND ME FOR THIS.

I am very upset right now.

Who Needs a RESUME?!

Remember I shared with you a video resume last month? I was doing that for you to see how a video resume works. I have always thought a video says more than a page when you are trying to talk to someone else, and you want to know what your workers look like, are they male or female, are they kids or adults? If you write that on paper, it could be a lie. You can't lie on a video resume. Anyway, if you can't tell from my questions, I am not getting the job and the newspaper did not except my video resume, which makes me very sour.

I could write anything I want on a resume and how you would know?! You wouldn't. It is a rigged system that means that the best liar gets the job. At least with a video you can see if someone is lying from there smiles or laughs or whatever they do they can't hide it. But apparently everyone wants a paper resume with a bunch of information on it. I was not aware of this on the beginning of my job search and I never received any guidance to tell me what i needed to do until i was rudely informed I was doing it wrong for the newspaper.

A lot of people lie about what they can do and it just makes an unfair system. No wonder we have so much crime in this world if it is run on the basis of resumes alone. Technology is the wave of the future and paper is no longer going to be the best format for your accomplishments. I just can't understand it. I am going to make a resume and be 100% honest on it but I don't know if any man could ever measure up to the best liar in history.

ANyway, a bit of good news. It's fourth of july! Time for FIREWORKS TONIGHT! I look forward to seeing them but they won't start for another 5 or 6 hours.

What do you think about resumes?

CONSPIRY AT THE NEWSPAPER

Ever since this stuff started happening with the NSA tapping into people's homes, I'm worried that nothing is safe. I'm especially starting to worry about the sanctity of our newspapers. Are the reporting the truth? Has the NSA gotten to them too? Take this encounter with a local paper, for instance. I applied several days ago as you know, with my video interview. I was a shoo-in. But I still haven't heard back. I have to conclude that something else is interfering with their hiring process. Maybe they have been asked by the NSA to use their HR department to gather information on people who need jobs. Everyone, please be cognizant in these harsh economic times when you are applying for sorly needed jobs that the people to who you apply may be actually gathering information on you. This is very troubling.

THE MYSTERIES OF DRIVING

Cars were invented by Henry Ford in the 1940s and have since become the most important invention ever. You can't go anywhere without a car or an airplane but cars have been proven much preferred for anything that isn't a too long distance. The car was replacing the horse so a lot of terms about a car (like horespower and traction) come from terms already used for horses to make the transition easier for the simpler people of the time.

I have never been interested in driving because I am a big environmental buff and I have plenty of people around me who like to driving and buy gas. So there is never really been a reason I would want to deal with having to buy a car or test drive a car. i have everything I want at home and Judy tends to take me places when my grandmother wont. But my grandmother forced me to learn to drive and I had some observations I wanted to share with you that I never expected. Everyone who is in a car knows about seat belts and doors, driving over bumps, don't hit cars on the street, stop at stop signs, and all the other basic techniques that all driving have to know. But these observations will help you jumpstart the learning process if you ever decide to drive, which I think should be your choice since the envirment is just getting sicker and you may not want to add to that.

  • Pay careful attention to the sticks poking out of the stearing wheel because they handle the wipers and turn lights. A mistake could mean an accident especially in the rain!
  • The gas footpetal is more sensitive than you think and you can easily go so fast you will loose control and get in a wreck.
  • The mirrors are actually for seeing the road behind you, not looking at yourself like you previously thought. Looking at yourself could get you in a wreck, save that for home.
  • The stick in the middle has a bunch of letters on it, but "R" means reverse and "D4" means drive. The rest are there for more advanced drivers like race car drivers.
  • Driving is really easy and it doesn't take any learning to be an expert, at least for me.

I hope these help you on your way to driving better without as much issue as you may have learning this yourself. Please feel free to share any additional ips you may have below!

SOMETHING IS MAYBE NOT WRONG AFTER ALL.

I have been more growing concerned about not hearring from Mr. Fox since I shared the video with you the other day about my concerns. I got concerned and looked up all the airplane accidents and car wrecks I could find in the Hollywood California area but not seemed to indicate anything happened to him. I have his email address and his phone number and I have been to his office. I know that he is a legit guy and we have met in person. My grandmother has made up some lies to get me to get a job and blamed them on him but I know these things take time and he is out there busty hustling for me so i have to be patent.

I know I paniced but everything is fine and I expect he will be getting back to me as soon as possible. I just have to practice patients and look at the big picture. Mr. Fox and his assistance who met with me both were really exited about my skills and accomplishment and loved what they heard about "BATTLE FOR CREATA FOREST" so I know that even if I have to try to find another agent to help at some point that its going to be great because of my practice and effort so far.

If you find Mr Fox let me know but I am going to stay confident and break through to him when he is less busy in the meantime and will try to also keep trying and looking to get an agent that might help me in the southeast because from what i understand there are also some developments of the film instruty in North Carolina so maybe Hollywood is just full of too many players trying to get in the writers game right now. I could get in the ground floor of the new film world.

I also had a really amazing idea: in the meantime I am going to hunt for other writing jobs for newspaper work or other types of writing as I figure them out since just getting words out there on the page is the best tool a writer can use to get himself success.

I'll keep you informed!

SOMETHING IS WRONG

I'm ver concerned about the agent that I got when I was in Hollywood recently. He has not contacted me in a while and I am worried that something has happened to him. I have done a lot of Internet searches to determine whether something has happened to him, but I haven't been able to find anything. I thought I should turn to my loyal viewers to see if we could all open up our eyes and cast a wide network across the country. If you see him, say something and let me know. I'm worried he's in trouble.

APPLICATION FOR WORK AT THE LOCAL NEWSPAPER

To who it may concern,

This is my video application for a job at your newspaper! I am very excited for the opportunity and hope that you will seriously consider me as a candidate for one of your writing jobs.

I have outlined some of my skills in the video, such as politically correct phrases, a command of all sorts of characters and symbols, and a real willingness to just jump in, get my hands dirty, and turn out some really exciting work.

If you have any questions, please feel free to send me a message on YouTube, or leave a comment below.

Sincerely,
Peter Bear

I put this on my blog so you can use it as a example of how to apply for a job with videos. Hope it helps you!

Mysteries of the BERMUDA TRINGLE!

My grandmother cooked me pancakes this morning which I haven't had in a long time from her. It was a pretty good surprise for the morning. She was in a good mood. She asked me about how I was doing and it was just a very nice experience that doesn't happen all that much anymore. She was very fun.

We watched some old show on netflix she said she used to like called CHEERS. I ditn' like it but the theme song was something she sang to me before and I reconized it.

When we were hanging out she told me about a trip she's going on soon and asked me if i wanted to go but I have a lot of work to do in writing very soon so I said no. She said now that I am not going she told me about a thing near her trip called "Bermuda Triangle." It is a mystery place in the shape of a triangle on the world map that ships and ocean creatures and submarines travel through and disappear and never return. It is like a scientific space black hole but in the ocean on earth! It sounds like a lot of neat stories come from there.

I asked her to tell me more but she said theres nothing more to tell. Its a mystery. I liked the idea of it so i looked it up on wikipedia and saw it is called the "Devils Triangel" as well. And is one of the 10 most dangerous place to live.

I am glad I am not visiting there but I think it sounds like a good place for a story of a lost pirate ship found by an explorer from today!

have you heard of the bermuda triangle/

bored...

Judys family has been in town for a few days to say good bye because they live near by and won't when she movies. I still don't know when she is moving. But it has made me bored to hang out by myself since my grandmother has a cold and has been in bed upstairs all the time. I having been playing a game called Tecken and punching various characters with a strange character that looks like a tree but that is only so fun for a small amount of time.

I watched some show called TED TALKS that was pretty good but it didn't really make much sense to me. I only saw 30 minutes but it was very captivating for that time. I don't know if I could handle much more.

It has just been pretty boring.

I want to write but sometimes when you get this bored just can't come up with the mood to do something bigger than just sitting on the couch being bored. so that is what i am doing.

I did something pretty great today for lunch. I got my grandmother to buy me a cheese called "good" and I made a grilled cheese sandwich with that. It was pretty good but when the cheese is melted it doesn't taste much different unless it has peppers in it like peperjack. So "gooda" is a pretty good cheese but not worth talkkng about very much.

Do you have any suggestions what I can do?

Vacumes vs. Brooms!

Why do people still buy brooms? Vacumes are so much better!

Brooms rare hard to use with one hand and get the levrage needed to sweep the dust up. Brooms are made with some dried grass that breaks off and gets everywhere. Brooms cant be used with carpets without problems. Brooms get dirty easy. If you spill cherry juice on the floor the broom colors red and then gets everything else dirty. I guess when people lived in farms and there were no vacumes brooms made sense because there was nothing else but technology gets better and newer tools are invented!

Vacumes are the upgrade version of the vacume. Vacumes can be used on all floors without problems. They don't get covered in cherry juice They get dust up easy. They can be operated by one hand easy! Basicly, there are no reasons to use brooms that make any sense when a vacume is right there. Using a broom is justa bad idea that has no purpose as far as I can tell. People who do brooms and not vacumes need to stop and change there minds!

I stepped on an Oreo cookie earlier on the carpet after lunch for desert and it shattered on the carpet and it got completely filled in the carpet. I couldn't find the vacume, so I broomed the carpet. That did not work It just spread the crumbs around everywere! After I found the vacume, it picked up the cookie dust in now time!

I am never going to touch a broom again.

Do you see what I am saying? Do you see a single reason for brooms?

REASON TO BE CONCERNED?

This one is quick and short. I just am concerned!

I just got a text message from my agent Mr. Fox from Hollywood, Los Angeles that said five letters "lmfao." I immedately said "what?" three times in a row and he did not respond! I have not heard from him in so long this was a weird message.

I looked up "lmfao on google and it means something very much filled with profanity! Do not look it up. It is the same as cursing to write those letters. I don't know what Mr. Fox was telling me or why he would send me those obsceneties.

Do you think he was sending a call for help? Or something else? What is going on? Have you ever got a message like that?

Upcoming Project: An Album of Folksongs

I have been keeping a project "close to the vest" (a phrase I heard recently that I like the sound of). I wanto push it away from the vest now and make it well known to you guys and my blog. You must at this point be aware of my guitar playing videos and my love for guitar music of all kinds. Well I know if I want to take this passion and turn it into a big project.

I want to make "An Album of Folksongs." I want to make a quality music album with great guitar, great storytelling in the lyrics, great record quality, and great performances. A fullength album that can stand the test of time and really tell a unique story that someone like me can tell. I am going to do something I don't ever do and really make this songs about my life. Songs about judy's mom hunt, songs about saginmeoff and my video blog, it will be sort of an autobiography album of song. No fictional writing on this one, straight from the truth, striaght from the heart.

The biggest problem hurtle to this project will be that I don't have any good recording equipment or quality instruments to do this the right way. There is no reason to do this if i can't do it right. I will need to get accordon players, mandolin players, some percussions, female singers, quality microphones, press some CDs. There is no reason to go 1/2 when you can go 100%.

I cant do the project with kickstarter again because they will not be honest about the fundraising and they are not a source of much luck. So I will have to think about the best way to raise the funds or see if a local recording studio can do it in trade for me setting up a blog or doing some videos for them.

It is coming soon I hope but not too soon because I only have a couple of songs right now.

debit cards are strange

My grandmother was hosting a bridge card game at our house today and she told me to go play outside. I had a better idea, to head to a cofee shop and write some poems and sceenplays (at least the begginnings of some). Judy volunteered to take me when i asked if she wanted to do that or maybe drive to atlanta and go to the world of coke-a-cola museum i found out they had recently where you can taste cokes of different flavors (grape coke would be very delicious!)

I got some work done but i was researching robotics and technology for the use of my screenplay and the internet connection wasn't very good. After a couple of hours i gave up and we left. Then the weirdest thing happened.

We stopped at a place called Kwikee Mart which i have always thought was a weird name. You would want to spell your word right to attract customers instead of making them unprofessional and kiddy like that. We stopped because Judy's car started beeping and her dad told her to pull over and he picked up us and brought her car back to the repair shop to get them to fix the problem again, I just hope it doesn't coast 500 doallars again!

While we waited for Judy's dad, we perusaled the shop inside of the gas station. They had a variety of cheap used DVD's and car decals with funny slogans on them. I almost bought some sunglasses because they were only $5 but then I saw a very nice holiday snowglobe in there clearence section at th e back of the shop for a very steep discount. I guess most people don't get there snowglobes at gas station stores when they have walmarts or marts or targets but this was previously priced at $20 and it featured a very realistic looking snowman near a big cityscape and the text "WELCOME TO THE HOLIDAYS" on it. The glass was very even and it looked like a very quality snowglobe.

I lost one of my favorites in the trip to Hollywood, Los Angeles so I was exited to buy it and at $4.99 cents on sale it was a now brainer!

I went up to the cash register feeling very lucky but when I swiped my debit card it was declined. I tried three times but it was declined every time. I have never had that happen before and I know it was not the card reader because i was able to buy it with my credit card with no issue after the fiasco. Why would one work and not the other? I don't foollow that at all. Debit cards are very strange.

I haven't asked my grandmother about it because shs is still playing bridge cards downstairs.

Car repair shop

Have you ever been to a car repair building before? They feel like doctors office's which makes sense because they are a lot like car doctors offices I guess.

Well I went with Judy to a car repair shop today because her car had to be brought in to get the engine changed before she moves to Pensylvania sometime soon. I was not that interested in going because I was watching an episode of a strange show I found on Netflix called MAD MEN. It is about a girl finding a job as a secretary in the 1970s. Judy begged me to come and told me the car place has free cookies so I agreed to go and i brought my smartphone.

On the way to the shop her car seemed just fine and I can't exacty understand why she needed to get her engine changed since it was running so good. I don't know a lot of things about the inner workings of cars so maybe Im just not an expert.

We couldn't drive away once we got there and the procedure took about 3 hours so there was a lot of time to kill and the cookies were kind of stale. I also drank some skim milk from the coffee station they had near the cookies but it was warm and unsatisfying.

Judy started to fall asleep at a point and I downloaded a game for my smartphone that is called AR GHOST or something. I think the AR stands for the name of the game maker, maybe something like Adam Roberts I guess? But the game was weird because it just lets me take photos of my surroundings and when they show up they have ghosts in them. Some photos don't have ghoss and some do. I am not sure how it works and I wouldn't call it fun exactly.

Judy had to pay like 500 dollars to get her car fixed which seemed like a lot! At least they washed it too.

BEAR ON THE LOOSE: Photography in the Airport

I have been meaning to post this for awhile because I didn't know how to get photos from my phone to my blog. Judy checked it out and showed me how to do it. FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT DON"T KNOW: It turns out it works exactly the same, you just use image capture and grab the photos and put them in a folder then browse for them and place them on the page. It seems complicated to explain but its not bad!

Smartphones have really revolutioned photos! You can take them anyway you want and anywhere you want. Older cameras fit in big suitcases and required more than one person to operate but smartphones allow you to try things out and not worry too much about where you are or anything that old cameras prevented!

When I was on the way to Los Angeles earlier this year I took a number of striking photos in the airpot. I made a new style of photo that originated from me not wanting to put photos of strangers and endanger there life on my blog from having them reconizable. So I came up with a way of taking photos by moving the camera quick and making neat streaks. You will find many of these here and I think you will like the artistic way it looks. I put these big so you can print them and put them in frames if you want!

I hope you like them this size. BLOGGER resizes them automically but i know you can still print them out as big as you want.

Try taking some photos like this yourself, you can get cool stuff in an airport and I bet you can get cool stuff otherplaces too! If you come up with a cool one share it in the comments!

The Mentalnet (or Mindternet)

I had a very amazing idea that I have been thinking about for the last three hours! I was telling Judy about an idea I had for a movie because I have been brainstorming more titles and summaries to use. This one was called DANGERS OF THE OCEAN and it featured an evil shark that terrorizes a particular boat of scientists who are trying to track it. When I told Judy this, she said there was already a movie about an evil shark called JAWS. I had heard of that movie before but I thought it had due with something else, I feel silly about it now but I thought it had to do with an evil villain who collected human jaws. Then again now that I know thats not true I can use it and just change the title to JARS OF JAWS (for a tricky title to pronounce! those are memorible!).

I was so shocked by the fact that this movie already existed! I think tis a famous movie actually so its not like it was made in some corner that no one knows about! So I thought about how this is possible. People at different times in different places coming up with the same ideas without knowing about each others ideas… How does that work… It is pretty neat. Maybe there were two people who invented televisions or computers at the same time but the first person to show it off gets the credit. That is a fasinating thought huh?

Well I came up with a way to describe this. Its sort of cosmic but I think you will be interested to think about it.

What if all of our brains are connected like through satelites and the internet. Satelites bounce through space and get to one central point without being connected by wires so thats where that part comes in. And we all know the internet connects everyones computers together and allows them to connect information back and forth. So if our brains use satelites and connect that way similar to the internet, we could give information back and forth without even knowing it!

So my ideas may not be my own and your ideas may not be your own! It is all about how gets them out first. JAWS got the shark idea out earlier even though it was also my idea, so in some wants someone is making money off a movie that I had the idea for! But someday when i have a big money making movie it will be someone else's idea first maybe and i could be taking there idea!

I have so much I could say about this idea and I think you would be pretty excited about the ideas but i am going to write a big movie like THE MATRIX that is really creative and thought provoking about this concept. I just have to be careful you won't take it first or that someone else isn't writing it first!

I call this concept the MINDERNET or also THE MENTALNET. Ist cool huh? Lets talk about this in the comments if you want to know more.

Local Indiependent Cinema Review

You probably followed my kickstarted before they turned out to be a real bad service full of lies that keeps everyones money! On it you would have seen my announcement that we were showing BATTLE FOR CREATA FOREST at the coffee underground in downtown greenville. I had never heard of this place but Judy found it in the phonebook or on google as a place for showing the movie. I didn't believe her at the time but there are actually a number of large number of movie showings that happen at the coffee underground.

There was one today at 3pm for a weird short film by a local filmmaker named Joe Shumway called THIS IS YOUR TICKET. Judy and me went to the showing to network and to offer a review for the film since it can be very helpful to get a feedback from someone. There were a bout 15 people at the premiere which I thought was a decent number but he probably didn't advertise much. Judy found it and told me about it so I don't know where everyone else found about it.

The movie was about 20 minutes long but it felt much longer, then we said high and I told Joe where my blog was and said we should maybe work together at some point because he had some good things about his movie and I think we could learn from each other!

So what did I think of THIS IS YOUR TICKET? Well I will be honest and say that I didn't fully get it. The movie started off with a guy dressed as a robot waking up in the middle of a very dark room and then his head lit up. Next the robot got on a computer and stared at it and tried to talk to it. This happened for about 10 minutes and then the robot heard a knock at the door and another robot came and changed places with him. This robot looked different but still had a lit up head (probably made with flashlights) but instead of being on the computer this robot touched his face and a red light started then the movie switched to see the rest of the movie through its own eyes. The robot zoomed on various objects and then eventually finds a mirror. When the mirror is found you realize the robot is actually invisible. I am not sure how Joe Shumway did the invisible trick but I would expect to see a reflection in the mirror and it wasn't there. The movie ended there and didn't have many credits.

I don't really understand what it was about and I think that the story needs work. The characters are find and the plot is okay but the story needs some work. I don't think anyone wants to watch people on the computer and showing a bunch of zooming in video of objects can be really unecessary.

Technically it was pretty good. I liked the robot costumes. The music was really loud most of the time and there were some parts that seemed really different. I don't know if thats because he used two cameras or filmed them at different times but there was a inconsistentcy to it.

I would recommend you watch the movie for yourself if he puts it on youtube or if it places in a film festival near you or if he raises enough money to put it on the theaters. But I can't give it a good review because it was not my favorite movie. Different things for different people I guess! But creativity is a good thing to do and this movie was creative for sure. I also didn't get the title.

I look forward to seeing more local films. Feel free to send me links to your own films in the comments and I might find time to review them.

Made up games!

I was watching some MYTH BUSTERS on netflix yesterday morning while i was eating a nutrigrain bar and I think my grandmother just have gotten on the wrong side of the bed this morning because she came in and told me i had to either eat or watch tv and not both. Then she decided she dint want bread crumbs on the couch and she told me to go sit at the table. I was only 30seconds away from the end of the episode I was watching a riveting episode about ghost voices and i thought it would be the most efficent way to do it to just finish the episode then go to the table but she got it in her mind that I was being disrespective and not listening to her. She grounded me from TV for a whole week!!!!

I won't get into it more because I don't want to cause a big deal on the internet with my grandmother so I will let you judge the facts for yourself but at the time I was very upset so I let it get to me and i went for a walk around the neighborhood to cool down (this is something I have down for many years you could consider it my trademark even). Remember how I told you I hadn't talked to Judy for a few weeks because of the rude word she called me in haste? well she actually was laying on her yard looking at the clouds and when i walked by her house, she ran after me and said she hadn't talked to me in a while. We talked about things and she said she was sorry she called me such things and we ended up really connecting again and things were good.

I had a good time talking to her so I forgot I was upset with my grandmother and instead Judy and I played a game of WAR like we used to play as kids. You play by claiming a name for your army. Mine was called BLUE ARMY and Judy named hers THE SEAGULLS for some reason. Then you pick up a bunch of pine cones and rocks and sticks from the yard and build a small catterpult out of your sticks and launch your pinecones and rocks at the other armies sticks and rocks. The person who can hit the most of the other army objects wins. I won by a long shot.

Judy then showed me her cloud looking game and we spotted some old men faces in the clouds and a couple of ghosts like Casper. My grandmother found us hanging out in Judy's yard and was worried because I hadn't told her wear I was going. She then went to go play bingo and Judy and her dad invited me over for pizza. He gets weird pizza that has pine apples on it. I think that no pizza should ever have fruit on it unless it is desert pizza!

I remembered why Judy and I have so much fun so I think things are probably better between us and I will probably not worry so much about the mean name she called me. But now I just have to not watch TV for the next week.

What are the most fun pretend games you play with your friends?!

Brains in the storm.

Cool title huh? It has more meaning than you might think on the surface…

I have been occupied from my visit to Los ANgeles, Hollywood that I haven't had as much time to do some big writing like I planned. So I have spent the last few days coming up with titles and basic genres for some new movie scripts I am going to write this summer! Summer is a good time to write (and sometimes spring) because especially on those stormy days you can get some good atmosphere of inspiration by staring out the window!

I am going to share my favorite ten ideas with you but just remember that these are my ideas and you should not attempt to take them and make scripts yourself because this is a resource for you to follow not to steal from. If you are having trouble coming up with your own ideas in needing to steel I would recommend you turn off the tv and stare at a page to really force some creativity to come.

Okay here they are! If you like them enough maybe I will post a few more, I am not sure if that is a good idea at this stage of my process of writing.

  1. HOME VIDEO TERROR - A guy is making videos with his home video camera when he edits it later realizes there is a sinister act happening in the background that he then tries to uncover and get the police involved. This would use be almost like a detective thing probably.
  2. CAROLINA PALMETTOS - A nice story of friendship between two friends that meet each other as kids and grow up to have families far apart. It ends with a dinner conversation with the two of them after they are very old and one of them dies eating soup. It is supposed to be more of a tearjerker for the female audience.
  3. LOONY MOM (series) - This is planned as a horror/mystery trilogy at the moment although I may extend it to be four parts and stretch the trilogy format again like I have done in the past. Some friends get caught up in the hunt for there parents to find one of there moms is crazy and she traps them in various houses and tries to kill them. The loony mom character would be like those bigger old villains from horror movies like Jason or FReddy Cougar or swampthing. I can't give away the ending yet.
  4. 15 MINUTES - A guy has a timer for 15 minutes that is all he has the time for before his mom (or friend or wife or something, that is not sure yet) is hurt by a villain. As time ticks and tocks he has to hurry. The twist is that he is able to slow down time to get his stuff done and he saves them.
  5. CHAT WIDOW - A haunted movie about an old woman who is constantly logged into video chats calling people and scaring them (short)
  6. PEOPLE IN THE TV - A guy is watching tv and changing channels when he realizes all the actors and costumes look the same in everything. He goes up to his TV and realizes that inside it are a group of people trapped and being slaved to perform all the television for him. He has to work with the people in the tv and solve riddles to free them!
  7. WRITTEN IN THE CLOUDS - A writer realizes that everything he writes becomes the truth and he starts to change the world literally with hhis words. The problem comes when a gangster forces him to write bad things and that ruins his life until he writes in a way to escape from his gangster trappers. I am pretty excited about this one! I haven't seen anything like it!
  8. THE BLOGGER - A simple guy who writes on his blog suddenly gets contacted by a mean bully who tries to ruin his life. This would be sort of an arty thriller movie with a lot of chase sequences between the characters.
  9. SMILES - I may make this a short one and it may not be a script but I am including it in this list anyway. I would basically go get video of hundreds of people smiling and then flash them back and forth to create a very artsy visual poem about smiles and how they can make you happy by themself.
  10. FELINE FLIGHT - In the style of AIR BUD and MILEO AND OTIS, a talking cat movie that would be a comedy and focus on a pilot cat! This one is more for kids.

Now do you get the title of my post? It is a play on the idea of brainstorming and the fact that I am looking forward to the spring and summer storms that are coming thru!!! Let me know what you think of my script ideas!!!

STILL UPSET!

I know i did not tell you all the details of what happened from the video the other day so it may have been confusing to you. But some of you may have put together the piece from my previous posts. Here's the story, my friend Judy got a boyfriend while I was gone and although it turns out she had good reasons for it I just didn't think he was the right guy for her. I could tell right off the bat of meeting him. So I was not giving him the benefit of the doubt because he was making Judy act strange and then he got upset with me and he left! It was sort of shocking. But he called me some a crude name and then Judy did the same thing(see my last blog post for more information about that). I wont write those words online. Check the video to learn about it.

Anyway I understand judy was just overreaching because she was told by her dad she has to move to a new state and get new friends far away. It was not good news for either of us and I am still coming to grips with it even now but I think I am more upset mostly from the awful name she called me. It's not a good place to be. It makes me not sure what to do about things between us and what this means. I know she has to leave and she is sad but some names are hard to excuse and forget.

I am staying away from her for now because I don't know what to say. I know she thinks i screwed things up but she has really gone very far with this one. I think I deserve an apologies!

ATTACKS ON MY CHARACTER

Hey guys, I would really like everyone to way in on this. My friend called me a mean name today after being upset at me from last night and I don't deserve what she called me. I know she was upset but i would like to know why she is so bent on calling me that name because then I could change my behavior or at least exlain why she shouldn't be upset and calling me that. But I am just at aloss and very suprised here. It's very upsetting.

BEAR ON THE LOOSE: THE WRITER'S ROAD

Do you ever wonder where the writers of movies like FERNGULLY, JACK, HOCUS POCUS, and even FOOTLOOSE get their ideas? Well, one thing that all those writers probably have in common is that they spent time in the Writer's Guild of America. This video includes a little tour of the outside of the WGA, and also a glimpse into a real Hollywood hotel room. Oh, and I also visited an agent's office in this video, so in case you wonder what Hollywood is like when it's all stripped down of its glamor and luxury, this is a great look!

BEAR ON THE LOOSE: SENIC CALIFORNIA

I know I have been really giving you guys a taste of what the city is like in California, but I have been neglecting showing off the natural beauty of the gold state (it's called that because gold is one of the primary exports).

There are two kinds of bodies of liquid in California that I encountered: The first is the ocean, which is made up of salt water, and the second is the pits, which are generally made up of tar. They don't have any of those in the South! You can see both of these in this video.

BEAR ON THE LOOSE: STARS HOMES TOURS

Here's another video showing off some of the sights and sounds of Los Angeles that I saw on my trip. As you can see there are tons of places where you can buy Oscar toys, so I'm starting to think that maybe there not as special as you might think if you can just buy them anywhere. But then I guess the cool thing about having an Oscar is not necessarily having the Oscar, but getting the Oscar in front of all the people that you work with and also infront of millions of home viewers all across the world. I didn't get one because I'm going to wait till someone awards one to me.

I also saw a bunch of tours for going to look in stars homes. I didn't go on one of those either because if I were famous, I don't think I would like a stranger going in my home or even in my backyard. It's just an invasion of privacy and it seems like it would be very upsetting to be in the position of one of the so-called stars.

BEAR ON THE LOOSE: THE WALK OF STARS

Continuing from my last post where I was in the airport, this time I'm checkign out the sights of Hollywood Blvd, where everyone whose anyone has a star on the Walk of Fame. If you haven't ever seen it before I recommend you at least googling a picture of it because it is truly a thing to behold. There are somewhere around 10,000 stars on the Walk of Stars, and someday, I hope that my handprints (or at least my name) is one of those lucky ones.

On my trip down Hollywood Blvd, you can also see some interesting characters all dressed up and on the street. I saw Darth Vadar from Star Trek, and a lot of people were getting their pictures taken. I didn't try to get my picture taken, because soon enough those are all the people that are going to want to get their picture taken with me! I don't think anyone recognized me on the street, though. Do any of my viewers live in Hollywood???

Peter Goes West

Did you get the reference? My title is like that classic Disney movie about the mouse FIVEL who goes west. I am working on "figurative language" a technique I found online to inmprove my writing.

I think the decision was inveitible. I just didn't see it. I was so focused on staying here to be with my grandmother that I avoided the truth that was "write" in front of me. I want to be a writer, there are no working writers in the southeast, and out west is a big sprawling city built for people like me called Hollywood. I just had to look west and see the flashing lights with my name in them. I told my grandmother about the idea and she thought it was the best idea i ever had and bought me a ticket to go. It is hard to argue with the message of fate when your grandmother buies you a ticket!

So I am headed out west. I am going to see the birthplace of the stars. I am going to mingle with the greats and meet everyone I can. Hopefully I will meet the makers of FAMILY GUY that I love to watch so much because I think I could write a really good episode of that show if they let me.

On the FIVEL movie they said there are no cats in america, but there are definitely going to be a BEAR OUT WEST!

When I'm out there I will try to share a variety of BEAR ON THE LOOSE videos but I can't garantee I will post regular blog updates since its hard to type them all out on my phone with the small keyboard. Keep your eyes dotted (and your tees crossed) to this blog and see what's coming up.

Let me know if you have any suggestions of people to meet in LA.

ATTENTION INTERNET PREDATORS

I am very upset right now. Viewers it has come to my attention that some men (and probably women) online have been behaving in a way that it EXTREMELY UPSETTING BEHAVIOR. People need to think about their actiosn and who might be effected by those actions if they come across certain posts on the internet. You should all think the next time before you send a VULGAR picture to someone else. Even if they said they wanted to see the picture, you should just think about how those images might effect the more inpressionable minds in our society.

You should not send vulgarity on the internet. One of these days, your actions are going to catch up to you and its going to inpact your ability to find a job or even find an apartment. You're going to have to make some imbarrassing calls to potential future employers who are going to want to know why you were sending filth around. I would hate to be you when that day comes. Don't say I didn't warn you. Watch the video and BE WARNED!

The role of a agent

Judy and I were watching a secret spy show on TV while it was raining. I really don't remember the name but I think it was AGENTS WITH SHIELDS or something. We only watched a minute of it because Judy got confused and I muted it and before I unmated it the show ended!

It took me about five minutes to understand the confusion because Judy had heard me talking about getting an agent for my writeing the other day but then got confused about secret agents portrayed on TV. I don't doubt there have been some agents to double as secret agents at some point in the past (that is actually a pretty good movie idea) but for sipmler explantation I focused on just one. The writers agent. She didn't know exactly what they did and I wanted to explain to her and also any of you who may not have understood the question the other day what an agent does and why I need one.

Agents are people who go to parties and meet everyone they can and then call them all to learn about them. This gives them a good bit of knowledge about everyone they meet and gives them the ability to use those people to help there clients in the future. This is the meet and greet process, step one of an agents work.

Next, agents do step 2, which is to meet with a bunch of potential "clients." Depending on what type of agent the client could be a writer or a actor or a stunt man. I would be needing writers agents so for my case the agent meets a bunch of writers. Then he picks the one he wants to represent.

For step 3, after an agent has a "client" he can show that clients work to all of the people he met in step 1. Some of them then give money to the agent for the writer and the movie gets made! I guess a writer could also be his own agent but that seems very complicated since so much work goes into the first few steps that it would be hard to find time to write.

Most agents are in Hollywood Califnornia because it's filled with so many more people to get money from to make movies (like tv studios and movie companies).

Hopefully that was helpful to break the process down. I may have missed a couple of details but this is intended like those FOR DUMMIES books that are so easy to read in the book store.

GETTING AN AGENT

Viewers, please watch this video and tell me if you have any advice related to the queries and concerns that I bring up. If you don't have time to watch right now but want to know what the video is about, I'll just tell you really quick because getting some answers is important while I'm coming off the premiere of my first movie and my career is picking up a bit. Do any of you know how to get an agent in South Carolina? I've done a few google searches, but nothing helpful has come up. Should I go to Hollywood????

FIFTY NIFTY UNITED STATES

Have you ever heard the song about the fifty nifty united states? I heard it in fifth grade but i don't' remember all the words! And I also don't think that there are actually fifty good states. In reality there are more like 4 (or 5 if you count South Carolina where I live since its actually pretty good all things considered) good states, one for each side of the continent. Those are the real ones to live in.

There's New York. That one has most of the big businesses and news channels and fashion and it is really just a cultural hotspot from what I understand. My grandmother told me she lived there when she was younger but I have never been and I can't verify that since I have never seen where she used to live. It's got a city named after it too, which most states (or maybe all states) don't have. It is probably the number one state in the USA for the average person.

California is next. It is the best state in the country in my opinion, better than New York, because it has all the big things that have formed the best TVs and movies. You may not have realized this but all movies and TV are filmed in California and so even though they are set across the country, they use places in California to fill in for the real thing. So really California is the only state we ever see on TV and it's pretty great from what we see! In order to fully become a media job in the future it will definitely be the place I need to head. There is a huge support system ready to help you there. Agents to get you work, TV stations and movie studios looking for scripts to produce, actors ready to work. Its an ecoystem that works well and I want to be part of it some day.

Texas is also a great one, you can tell because it's so big. Most of the population of the USA lives in Texas because theirs so much room. I think the song "HOME HOME ON THE RANGE" is about Texas and I have always enjoyed the depiction of wildlife and the prarey.

The last great state is Illinois because it contains the great american city Chicago. I hope to visit chicago one day and get the pizza they are supposedly well known for making. I think it is a difference of size and the way you eat it (with a fork I think) but overall it seems an exciting food endevor.

There are 45 more states I didn't even mention but its because they don't have much going for them, like North Carolina or Alabama or Florida. These places have people in them only because those people don't move like they should. I am overall glad those people don't move because they would head to California and overpopulate it's important cities like Los Angels!

What is your favorite state and why?

Great things are brewing ahead.

It's time to build up anticipation. I think I am going to be getting some exciting new technology soon. My grandmother and I had a conversation and I think it is going to happen.

I am not going to tell you what it is yet, because I am going to make something with it first and my grandmother may change her mind so I don't want to be called a liar! I will say it is going to make things in my life and for my blog a lot easier!

Get the anticipation started, let the count down begin.
